So much to do so little time...Options for days...Devils Lake in the fall is a magical place that every outdoorsman should experience. Ducks/geese, diving in on the newly cut fields of grain. Grouse hunting, dove hunting, and of course white tail deer hunting!! Exciting time of year for sure!!
Oh yes, fishing too!! And as far as that goes it has been fantastic!! We are catching fish using just about all methods these days, but the best bite had been with a bottom bouncer and spinner. Seems like 7-12 ft has been good for the shallower fish and 22-32 has been good for the deeper fish. Look for the bridges to get better and better as we continue into fall. Also, when the frogs find their way back into the lake, look for the bigger eyes to attack the shallows.
