The Bite Continues On.....

We are beginning to sound like a broken record, but the reality is that Devils Lake has been fantastic all summer and right now is no exception. We are catching walleyes, pike, bass, and a few perch. Most days we are working weed lines or rock piles. Seems like a lot of minnows and bait are located in or near the rocks right now, which equals walleyes! Look for the shallower bite to continue to get better and better as fall approaches. If this fall is anything like last, look for some monster walleyes to be caught along with a lot of nice eating sized fish as well. All the guides at Bry's Guide Service are so excited to get on the water each day. We have some of the nicest clients that come to us from all over the United States. It is so much fun to get people into awesome fishing. If you would like to make a fall trip happen, shoot us an email or give us a call. Good luck to all.

The weather and bite are HOT!!

We are experiencing done if the warmest weather of the year in Devils Lake this week and the bite hasn't declined a bit, in fact, it might be better this week than last week.
What we are doing...as always we are covering water. The two most productive ways to do this is to troll cranks or pull bottom bouncers and spinners. A third of a crawler has been the best by far for live bait. Blade color doesn't seem to matter.
Number 5 Salmo Hornets gace dive well as have number 5 and 7 Berkley Flickershads.
Flooded points, humps, roads, and the old shoreline has been the best. Wirk 10-25 feet off water and get ready!
We are seeing a lot of 12-16 inch fish, please remember to handle the smaller fish with care as they are our future!!
Good luck to all!!
